We created this campaign for Tru Earth, an environmentally conscience way to do laundry without all the harmful plastic jugs. We thought it was a fun, impactful way to tell their story.

We also won a 2024 Webby Award. Which is the closest I’ll ever come to matching Olivia Rodrigo’s success.

The BuyPower Card is GM’s rewards credit card. Every time you swipe it, it helps you save on your next new GM vehicle. Pretty nice.

Plastic hasn’t been that cool since I got that Jabba the Hut play set as a kid.

Pharma and healthcare are an area I have been focusing on for a while now. I find it really fulfilling. I’ve done it all from digital videos to brand work to websites and annotations.

Interesting side note: Mike who played the zookeeper later went on to become a three time Jeopardy! champ. I don’t want to say I’m a taste maker, but “ball don’t lie” as they say. (That doesn’t apply here).

In the Middle East, you see a fair amount of Toyotas and Hondas. It can make you just sort of make you blend into the crowd to the point of invisibility. But what if you want to make statement? Ford’s got you covered.

This campaign started with a few fun videos and then we created some equally fun social visuals for their team on the ground in UAE to take advantage of.

Was it successful? Well, I don’t see a whole lot of invisible people walking around Dubai these days. Just saying.

In order to highlight Ford’s smart technology to car buyers in the UAE and beyond, we created Youseff, a character who’s alternative solutions were anything but smart. There’s also a puppet. So you tell me who this generation’s Jim Henson is.

Ford Pro is more than just trucks and heavy equipment. It’s smart software designed to optimize your business. These websites highlighted what Ford has to offer. It’s the closest I’ve come to having a skill trade.

Canadian Tire is Canada’s largest retailer. Despite the name they carry a wide array of products (this is well-known in Canada of course). For instance, hunting and fishing gear. To highlight that year’s selection of Columbia gear we created this take on a hunting guide as a direct mailer. We also followed up with out of home and print.

As a camper I was as excited to work on this as my wife was bored with me talking about it all the time.

Dwayne signed on to be the spokesperson for Ford Service. We created this intro video for the campaign where he is the leader of an elite squad of service techs.

Side note, however gigantic of a person you think he is, he’s a billion times more gigantic.

HGTV paint expert Debbie Travis partnered with Canadian Tire to sell a line of specialty paints. We had the pleasure of helping her launch them through a nice print campaign.

I spent so much time up in Toronto during this campaign they dubbed me “Toronto Jones.” Fine, they didn’t.

Ford needed some videos to beef up their YouTube channel. We were happy to oblige. I don’t know why I said “oblige.” Who am I? Wyatt Earp?

EcoSport is a small SUV Ford sold overseas. The positioning is "Urban Discovery." Which lead to this campaign that ran in the Middle East as well as select other countries where the vehicle was sold.

Note for tourists: if you ever find yourself in Dubai don’t miss this charming little coffee shop I’d go to every morning. It was called Starbucks.

Ford's vehicle were known for their smart technologies. So we created a campaign for the Middle East called How Ford is That? My partner and I were charged with a complete website overhaul to support the TV.

Some TV I did early on in my career. And just like the classic TV you know and love, these spots are the perfect thing to watch when you’re home sick from school.

The best social connects in an emotional way with its audience. In this case the client was me and the business need was freelance work. So I thought this was a fun way to let people know I was available but also giving a touch of real-world experience to it. It resulted in almost 90,000 impressions and 800 engagements.

Yes, the conversation really happened (my kids are all very funny) and even better, it resulted in some real work.

And even with all that success I learned a very valuable lesson. Don’t say “I went viral” to your teenagers unless you want some truly savage insults hurled your way.
